Our mission is very simple: To let African Americans in Atlanta or those visiting Atlanta know of the many exciting African American events that are taking place in our city. We are a one stop site you surely want to include on your favorite list. "To find out where to go we're all you need to know."

Atlanta-africanamericanevents was conceived on January 15, 2011 as I was searching the internet to find out what events were planned for Atlanta during Black History Month. I was really surprised when I discovered that to get an accurate account of the many events I had to go to numerous sites. That is when I decided to create a one stop site that would reflect the many African American related events that are held in Atlanta not only during the month of February, but throughout the year as well. "We're the one stop site you can't stop at just once".
